UTILITY PROGRAM DOWNLOADS
 
  On this page you’ll find links for downloading the latest versions of a range of useful programs for virus protection, browsing, sending and organising E-Mails, system protection, spyware blocking etc.  Please E-Mail our company’s I T department on techsupport@cympower.net if you have any questions or points you’d like to raise.
 
  If you’re in a corporate system or network, please liaise with your I T system administrator before you attempt any changes.  If it’s your own workstation computer, why not give these a try, if you haven’t already?

For Anti-Virus protection, the first and most essential item of protection before going on-line, try Grisoft AVG Anti-Virus, a free program which can be updated to a paid version after a trial period if you want more protection.  The program performs its own anti-virus updates and testing of your system, including E-Mail attachment monitoring.

For Adobe Acrobat reader, which you will require to read the service bulletins and other .pdf documents on this and other sites: Click Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0

For E-Mails, spam filtering, organising multiple personalities, signatures etc.:
Click Qualcomm’s Eudora 6.2.  This is a free download, but you can pay for a full version, which we have found to be a very worthwhile application.

For Web Browsing, try the latest version (1.0) of:
Mozilla Firefox.  It’s open-source, has a small footprint, is easily installed and removed, has lots of facilities and we think you will find it most useful.

For a complete E-Mail and Web Browsing program combined, click to download:
Opera V 7.54.  This very much admired program is fast gaining popularity.  It has been recommended in numerous magazine reviews and makes a good second-string to the two programs above, or you can use it on its own for both purposes.

To protect against Spyware, Adware and other intrusive program tools, these are two of the main programs, equally recommended for different reasons.  They work well alongside each other on the same system and together they are very effective protection against intrusive programs.
