WatchMonitor

Have you ever wondered what’s happening to your vessel while you’re at home, at work or abroad on holiday? Now you need worry no more.  The WatchMonitor acts as a sentry, collecting data about your craft and providing SMS information about essential conditions.

The inbuilt GSM radio modem will alert up to 15 mobile telephone numbers of your choice by sending SMS text messages to them. The 15 numbers are split into three alert levels, (Preliminary, Warning and Priority).

Upon detection of a potential alarm condition, a text message will be sent simultaneously to all numbers within a level.  You may interrogate the system from any of your fifteen mobile ‘phone numbers at any time via a text message to WatchMonitor to check on the reported conditions.

The inbuilt NiMH battery in the WatchMonitor is charged from the craft’s supply, but is only used if either of the main batteries fails or discharges.  It provides at least 50 hours of continued use without charging.  Provision is made for the addition of an external charger, (such as wind or solar), as long as it has a 6V output of at least 100mA

An external siren can be supplied as an extra, to provide an audible alarm upon activation of one of the alarm loops.  This can be substituted for a gas shut-off valve, which may be operated if a gas leak is detected.  These modes can be pre-set at installation.

We will also provide a monitoring service for your system if required, and take appropriate action should an alarm occur, if you or your crew are unable to attend in an emergency.

E-Mail our
service department or ‘phone 08000 199399 for further details, or for a meeting to discuss your needs and assess the requirements of an installation aboard your vessel.  You can visit www.watchmonitor.co.uk for more information.
